With a history that dates 27 centuries back, placed in the South of the peninsula with the same name, is a small town and an excellent harbor for the luxurious yachts and boats. Last but definitely not least the Castle of Bodrum, built in the 15th century is one of the main attractions in the city, just waiting for the tourists to visit it and to enter a world of mystery, traditions and never ending stories.

Those who love water can go a few kilometers from Bodrum to the Greek island of Kos, a place considered to be the best for scuba diving. The tourists can also sail on the Aegean Sea to the Greek Island of Samos and to the 3 ancient fortresses of Priene, Milet and Didima.

Judging by the vast number of historical vestiges and the spectacular touristic development in the past years, we can easily understand why this town is on the top of the list of the most beautiful touristic attractions in Turkey. As some use to say, the smaller the size, the bigger the attraction!
